Personally, I stuck to E115 because it was easy and had no projects to grade ) But some people prefer 116 for the slightly higher level content. If you only apply for 216 and don't get it, you won't just be signed up for 116 automatically. You can apply for as many as you want I believe, however make sure you are actually willing to TA for say, Matlab. The hiring for Fall 2019 is already done, but you can apply about halfway - 3/4ths of the way through the semester for Spring 2020. Using go./cschiring like another commenter said is your best bet. Marini, but you might get a somewhat sassy response over the summer. Also, my friends usually TA'd her classes so I'm entirely biased there. Heckman does most of it for 216, but it also depends on who is teaching the different sections. ToniAnn Marini handles all the hiring for the 100 levels.
